Write the FCC and complain that you cannot receive your local stations. The stations should be required to broadcast to all cities in there respective market areas or offer the signal for free via streaming on the internet.
Cable and Satellite providers have had to pay each local station to carry their signals since the mid-80's. This has gotten out of hand and the station owners are as greedy as the cable and satellite providers. They lose this money if you can stream their station to your home for free.
You can complain to the Federal Communications Commission all you like, but it will do nothing more than give you a form letter in return. PAC's and SuperPAC's in Washington make sure the FCC doesn't require your local station to deliver your signal to you for free to bolster the interests of cable and satellite.
